Dry Eye Disease (DED) occurs when your eyes do not produce enough tears, or when the quality of your tears is poor – especially due to Meibominan Gland Dysfunction (MGD), which affects the oil layer of your tear film. Left untreated, the condition can cause discomfort, blurred vision, and long-term damage to the surface of the eyes.
