Hi, I’m Marilize. I am an optometrist with diagnostic and therapeutic privileges from RAU and SYNY University.  I am dedicated to delivering comprehensive eye care with a special focus on advanced contact lens fitting.

With a deep understanding of ocular health and vision correction, I work closely with patients who have complex prescriptions or conditions such as keratoconus, post-surgical corneas, and severe dry eye.

Using the latest diagnostic technology and speciality lens designs, including scleral, RGP and EyePrint Pro lenses, I create tailored solutions to restore clarity and comfort for even the most challenging cases. I am passionate about patient education and long-term vision care, ensuring that every patient receives clear guidance and personalised attention.

I am the secretary of the Contact Lens Society of South Africa and assist with university lectures, webinar talks, conference presentations, and training on a regular basis, staying at the forefront of innovation in eye care.

In my spare time, I explore beautiful parts of South Africa on my Harley Davidson with my family!
